A Place Called Home

becoming
self
regulating
I
seek my level
in all things
moderation -
even moderation
turning away
from the lover
I seek the beloved within
oh,
self of no self
why so easy to find
in mirrors and masks
there is a well inside of me
of fertile water
potent with
last year's seed
and decay
breeding further life
we all
live on
in guises
that are
far from absolute
I stand
in this stillness
seeking the
counter-point
where the modulation?
I sink into my own depths
unwind my stories like a string
cast into waters
I am fishing
harvesting my own
hidden histories
still lurking
dense and subtle
below the placid surface
of this
ancient dream
I dream the dreamer
and you are with me
seeking in these
dark waters
letting
waves build
no crash
this holding pattern
keeps us in flight
never landing
never landing
we
circle
spiral
twist and dance
into
this subtle frame
of reference
no recompense
what is done
is done
and no moment
lasts for ever
except this one
take this moment
dripping with
fresh sweat
the smell of air
and water on your skin
and somehow, roses
Water sings a
simple song
calling ghosts and
dreams
from my cells
this living land
calls me home
and I ride
the wave
a
swell
of my own emotion
river becoming ocean
Why is eternity
more present for me
in your eyes?

Thank you. This was EXACTLY what I needed to read on this particular day. It is not a surprise, and very much a blessing.
Namaste beautiful one,
Di
Thank you, beloved.

Oh my Goddess!!!
The Goddess in me swam in this place this week… it was during a time of meditation-the woman I am became part of the waters and swam with sea turtles dolphins and heard the song of the humpback… all from my own little bed here in Virginia..
much love
